Nice photographs!
Vijendra, you and Bappa Da, both inspiring to keep these fishes.
What if I keep a pair in 45X30X30 cm with more hundred shrimps? Their regular breeding will provide them live food in natural process.

My experience with them is that these are not shrimp compatible fish....SCORPIO wrote:Nice photographs!

Re: Badis badis
They will finish off your shrimp population, the adult ones as well (One of my Badis (Badis sp.Buxa, which is smaller than Badis Badis) tore apart a female shrimp's belly when she was carrying eggs resulting in her death).... you will have to keep on adding shrimps for them to act as food...SCORPIO wrote:Shrimps will be as live food.vijendra_s123 wrote:My experience with them is that these are not shrimp compatible fish....SCORPIO wrote:Nice photographs!

Scarlet Badis (Dario dario) would be fine with shrimps, but you just cannot hope that they will get enough food from the production of the shrimps....
