do that, ishaan.
marble gravel is one of the biggest con jobs pulled on fish lovers by ignorant/dishonest LFS. one guy claimed to be an 'experieced' hobbyist. but when he described the marble gravel he has always used, i laughed at him. when i told him how dangerous marble can be unless u have a rift lake (malawi, tanganyika, victoria) cichlid that likes hard water, he looked at me not knowing what to say. all books on aquaria will warn u against using ANY stone that dissolves in water, if u have a freshwater tank. they are always a mistake.

Any thing which can alter water chemistry should be kept outside the tank. try using construction sand instead, ur jewels will love it.ishaan wrote:what about jewels ,how they do with marble gravelsRomi wrote:do that, ishaan.

How often do you plan to clean?ishaan wrote: problem with construction sand is when we try to clean the tank
tanks run for years without cleaning substrate when you have good filters and good siphoning.
