Hi, I want to setup a Hilly scape in coming days. Please advice on color of background for natural look. Available rocks are following:

for a hill scape i would suggest light blue background or white background...... last preferred will be my all time favorite black...

for my background i might experiment with clouds wallpaper

I think nature has few examples of pure colours. The blue we see above is often mixed with fluffy white, or gray, or cream.... There are so many shades of yellow in the sky too, none of them the bright primary yellow you see in a child's colour box. so backgrounds that are just one colour or the other cannot compete so easily with mother nature's colour palette.

So i would suggest pastel shade background, with good doses of blue and white, maybe even some light gray areas, where there should be no clear line of separation of one colour from the other, just a gradual gradation. Definitely not clouds like in a child's book, but something in soft focus
