So, I see quite many people doing journals of tanks, rock placements, growth rates, breeding notes, disease prevention etc etc.
I am not a guy with so much time, hence I thought I should share some pics I keep clicking while and then.

Unlike other journals, where its just tank pics etc, you can ask me numerous questions to the edge, and I ll revert to best I can.

Starting away.
----------------------------

The below is brood stock from a hatchery in our city of Hyderabad(yes, very few know that there are hatcheries in Hyderabad, you might have only seen people from Chennai, Mangalore, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata etc brag about it.... but YES, we have a silent lot here :sing )

This guy is Neolamprologus leleupi, from lake Tanganyika! a rock dweller by&for life.
Fed mostly on frozen BBS, grindals, earth worms and some dry food. These tend to become orangish when you feed them more of tetrabits, any red color enhancers like krill even Astaxanthin. I am yet to see ones which are really completely yellow, perhaps thats just some photo edits online, I dont know. I havent kept these myself, but are suppose to be one of the milder cichlids from this lake.

This one I guess is the father of the brood(literally hundreds of them), and gave a surprise visit out of its earthen pot cave, and I could click this.

Beautiful picture Sai. I'm back in the hobby after a break and wanted to keep these.
Any pointers where I can get them from?

Humaid

after a long time I got some free time to share few more shots.

These guys, I just cant remember the name. They looks so much like brevis(Neolamprologus brevis) but they are not. There were nearly 100 of t hese juvis in a 50gal breeder tank. They really are so much fun to interact, you raise your hand they come up for food, you wave hand more and they all dive into their shells!
Having so many fish in such a small tank looked to me they were very calm fish. Just like brevis, even these appreciate bigger shells for dwelling and spawning and raising fry in it. Unlike brevis which are quite aggressive, these looked much more socialized.
All these guys were fed on varied diet of BBS, grindal worms and dry foods(I think some hikari). This was the first time I saw these guys, and they looked really cool, with that blue gleamy mascara and subtle yellow brown body. I am sure it would be a really lovely addition to any tang tank, wish I could have got some more space at home for having a tank for these guys!

EDIT: These guys are Neolamprologus Calliurus thanks to Abhishek for the id.
