DIY- Aluminum hood, for 36W
Dear all,
Made this yesterday for my friends new tank. He had so much spare aluminum from his recent home builds, so these parts caught my attention.
Plan to finish smooth the hood a bit as the edges look flimsy.

Sai! This is good!
Ok, can u tell us what this aluminium stuff is called individually in the trade? i mean, do they call it 'patti' and 'tracking' or what? Then i can go and ask for it and not have to describle it, which i am so good at that btw, they get totally confused
