Keep the following in mind while setting up a Crayfish tank:
- Tank size should be atleast 1 foot
- They are pretty hardy so don't worry about PH too much, can be anywhere between 6-8. Do 20-30% water change weekly
- Tight hood/lid as Crays are always trying to escape
- Use a soft substrate, I use sand. Crays like to dig
- Have as many hiding places as possible especially if you plan to keep more than 1 (use pots, pvc pipes, coconut shell)
- Feed once a day (what to feed has been mentioned earlier in the thread)
- Aeration is important for crayfish and add a good filter(they mess up the tank)
- Lighting, not too harsh otherwise anything goes
