Are assassin snail predators?

Last tuesday i get 5 assassin snail from Rajiv Sharma ji. i kept them with red cherry shrimps in 1 feet cube tank. shrimps are reducing day by day. are they eaten by snails?

mine are also veggie have never seen mine attacking or eating snails, but yes have read it that they do feast on shrimps

Usually Shrimps are too fast for the Assassins,

but I would not want to see whether the lion can eat my Ibex if hungry, assassins are predators but like every other carnivore on the planet prefers to eat meals that are easily available.

If a carnivore is hungry it will hunt, if favorite prey not available then the next available Protein rich food is good enough.
