Let the shrimpman chime in
Btw coloration looks dull with the pattern on it, looks like feeding him quality food will enhance the colour try that

Re: A new colour in my Shrimp
A variant of Indian Rainbow shrimp for sure..
Earlier was confused with a red cherry but now the body structure and the yellow line on the body clarifies the doubt
Lovely catch Vishaal bhai

It is a very beautiful shrimp. From where you caught in Rohtak?

DO NOT keep these with RCS they may interbreed!
but they look amazing, selectively breeding them will get you a darker color, nice find!
this is how i fed them to increase color:
monday: DIY algae pellets
tuesday: no feeding
wednesday: tetra bits
thursday: no feeding
friday: DIY algae pellets
saturday: no feeding
sunday: tetra bits along with a 25% water change
i also threw in some cuttlebone, but you may also try with egg shells. and one almond/teak leaf for making the water acidic
