My Sulawesi Poso Snails

Unread post by Abhishek »

Hi Gyus, sharing some of the recent images of my sulawesi poso snails, they are with me for around 4-6 months...

One of the thing is that they are very very slow grower and can eat everything...

And please ignore me for the horrible images, because the glass is not at all clean...

Well I read up on these creatures. You appear to have the Poso orange.

These come from Sulawesi in Indonesia from Lake Poso. BTW, it seems they grow to 4-5 inches. How big is the tank in which they are kept ? Also , is the tank planted ?

Well. Some want to get rid of ordinary snails and you are keeping?

Apuda, I have poso yellow only but there pics were not visible properly. And yes they grow to that size, but it will take mine one another 5-6 months to be at that stage.

They are kept in a 1cubic feet tank and no planted tank, they can eat Anything that they can get :)
