Hi Just wanted to know has any one used Caribsea Eco complete ? If yes then ,how potent is the substrate? Does it have nitrate spikies? And finally what is the best way to use it?

Company claims that the substrate increase the speed of cycling. But always keep in mind, every new aquarium need a cycling period. Nitrite spike is also a part of cycling. If you want to jump cycling period, install used filter and water from another aquarium.

Actually I already have 20 pounds of caribsea absolutely new , but will be falling short for my tank which is 3ft by 1ft by 18 inch(ht).
