Yes yes, even plecos are Popeye relations. I don't bother to even boil cucumber or spinach leaves, i just freeze them, and then let them thaw. They turn soft and the fish love them even better that way. Goldfish are avid greens eaters too! So are mollies, just let them get used to them first.

It got soft after keeping it in warm water for several minutes.
