A small update.

From some time I have noticed digging and burying of shells were going on but wasnt sure.

Yesterday night while feeding saw that near to a shell 6 babies are there, they are free swimming.

Taken a quick mobile video - sorry for the bad quality :)

Thanks Vijendra... :)

Got one more batch from seperate parents and decided to try to raise them seperately. After suggestion from Vijendra taken them off to a separate bucket.
I caught some of the fry with the shrimp net, kept them in a bucket with sponge filter on and also used the tank water.
Dropped 2-3 shell also and dropped 4-5 tylo snails there to clean up the food.

Some queries now -
Will start live food in 2-3 days. Will frozen artemia be good?
And what can be the water change schedule and percentage? And should I use fresh water for wc or main tank water?

A video of the parents attacking the net

Separating the fries is the best way to minimize casualty and the parents will breed again in absence of fries.......will take a close look on your progress....no doubt it is a tedious job and requires lots of attention……. I am raising my Brichardi fries in the main tank itself as I don’t have the luxury of proving that much attention to fries ……Envy u …. :P :P

Thanks Dev :)

Pinaki just wanted to raise these babies as it would unfold new side of this hobby, trust me its a tedious job to go back home and do the required stuff on daily basis, but enjoying it as of now. And even if I am not able to properly take care of them next time will do better :)

Abhishek ji hard to take their pics and moreover flash requires some maintenance :(
