they are very common is coastal areas or areas with regular rainfalls.
maybe the climate in delhi is not suitable for this tree.

Yep the climate of delhi is not suitable for this tree.

There are Terminalia catappa trees in Delhi Zoo and the botanical garden of Hamdard in Delhi.


Syed knows someone in the garden but Syed has forgotten all my earnest reminders :dua

i remember buddy but that guy is dificult to catch hold of and then he is works in other dept, so not directly linked to herbal garden.

i would suggest to test leaves, which were gathered in a big city, before using them in a tank.
the air in delhi is quite polluted and heavy metals, NOX, sulphur and other stuff might accumulate on the leaves.
put a guinea pig fish or shrimp in a small tank with one of the leaves for a couple of days...just to be sure
