got 10 of them and put them in a heavily mts infested 50 gallon, it took three months, before i couldn't spot a single mts alive, then i moved the assasins to another 30 gallon which was also heavily infested with mts, the snails since then are living there itself, and there are absolutely no mts

but the 50 gallon has got a large number of mts again, these guys are quite resilient, mts, may be their eggs stay dormant for a long time before they hatch

MTS are livebearers.

I hope it means they really are mating. In one tank, two were stuck together, since they wer same size, i was surprized, but i was glad. But they stayed immobile, so i took a closer look. They were eating an MTS together!

Assasins will hunt in groups also.

In case they are indeed mating, the square egg sacks should appear on plants etc. Then the babies will hatch and burrow into your substrate, and reappear only 3 months later or so... So watch out for those and do take pics for us bad cameramen

Ishaan... dont worry.. your assasins are with me... safe and sound... will hand over to Rajeev Scorpio Sharma when we meet him next Sunday in Gurgoan... the guy i was expecting to carry these to CHD changed his plans and hence they are still with me...hopefully , should increase in numbers by the time they reach you.

thanks,

'Finding' or 'looking'.... ?? Big difference, buddy.

One means you got them, the other means you did not.
