I have been experiencing sudden chlorine spikes all through last month post water changes. And the water also smells slightly treated.
My guess is that due to the season change , the water authorities are being extra cautious, which is leading to poor water quality.
Has anyone else experienced this ? Bleaching/melting of plants ? Sudden fin rot etc ?

I also felt chlorine spikes from some time but I always uses stored water.
