Vanished Assasins

i had 5 assassins in a 2 ft tank, i saw two of them ganging up on one then they moved on and then saw an empty assassin shell, although i dont have an explosion of snails i can no more see my assassins.

please help people.

you have Dead snails or they where under ur tank substrate...

it stopped moving right where the others had ganged up on it and the next morning the shell was empty

Even I faced same issue. Lucky I bought 4.
I don't know if they do this when super hungry.

I dont think so as I had local snails in huge numbers. they also dont eat the dead assassin

Cannibalistic Assasin are meant to be. local snails even I dint see hunting other snails.
so must have finished the already attacked(during shipping) snail

Even i had faced same problem in my 4 feeter with 3 snails, and now can see 1 regularly and the other loves to burrow himself in sand .
