Six inches is still manageable!

Actually they are very slow growers
I got 2 of them at 1.5" almost one and half year ago

The aggressive one has reached 6"
The smaller one is still at 4"

I am just hoping it grows its full size of 30"+

Hm.. perhaps u should swap the smaller one for something else, that the big boy will not see as competition.

they are in a 180 gallon with a few of the other exotic plecos

the alpha among the plecos is actually the para pleco, who occupies the driftwood's hollow, this fella stays on the side of the same driftwood( a 3' piece), the smaller one stays in a completely different driftwood, placed in the corner of the tank.

this fella shows aggression while feeding towards the datnioides and the p. siamensis while feeding.
