true, buddy. i am, more or less confined in my home, mother's illness takes a lot of my time now. But yesterday i found myself close to Anand Parbat, and though not in a position any more to buy more fish (or give much time to my old hobby), i took a peek to see what was available 666

I was astonished to see some good quality fish, this time Pearlscale Goldfish, which are hard to see of top class, anywhere. In about 4-5 years i have not seen this perfect conformation in the golf-ball pearlscale variety of Goldfish with international standards that i saw here today. When I saw it suddenly in Royal Aquarium, i stood for about 15 mins staring

Took a mobile pic or two too, which i am uploading here, for anyone who has the skills to keep this variety of goldfish alive for a long time (you need to feed good quality but less food than for other fish, and make regular water changes or the fish will die, being truly globular, they have more demands)...

they are available for just around 80 bucks each, maybe he gave me a good price since i have been a customer for years and years. For quality, i would not hesitate to pay 250 each fish, the usual pearlscales are so badly bred, they do not have good globurality or flawless fins (in this variety they should be small fins, deep bodies, and pointed noses)..

This is a poor photo taken with a 5 mp mobile, upper fish looking best in the two, but not just these two but all the fish have the impeccable flawless shape, rounded short fins, and good appetite (i made him feed them to see their response), that shows their quality.

To see more about pearlscale goldfish, members can see this link

The other fish i saw at Anand Parbat included,

Shri aquairum

Some good quality calico single tail goldfish or Shubunkins,
Datnioides
Severums

Royal Aquarium
Some large Half Black Angelfish, nice.
Some pearlscale Marble Angelfish
Some excellent quality dwarf gouramis, ahmazing :D
A male pearl gourami
A huge HUGE HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE silver dollar, lol
Nice small Cosby Gouramis
Black Moor Goldfish

Kumar Aquarium
Single Tail Albino/leucistic Godlfish, nice quality.

Cheers!

Helloooo
Today I was in Saket area and went to Fish World to take a look. Lots of dead fishes floating around in tanks...and you are greeted by a musty fishy smell when you enter. The guy needs a room spray or somethin :p
Live ones included (I will tell you the ones I paid attention to in detail),
Pearl Gourami, 200 pair
Big size Convicts 180 pair
Hill stream Loach 150 pair (the shop attendant kid called em "Chinese Suckers" HA!)
Nice looking Sword Tail variation 80\- pair
Jewels, Ramirezi and some odd Cichlids that I didn't recognize all priced at 180 pair
I also saw, dwarf neon gouramis, serpae tetra, widow tetra, mollies, neon tetra, oscars, Mono Argentus, some big Puffer fish, hideous looking colored parrots, different kind of goldfish and 2 big fat flower horns....there were some more but I don't remember and I am getting bored of writing this out and oh!...There were Immersed stem cuttings starting from 200\-
I took home a ninja
