My Central American Theme Tank
Hi all
I have been keeping a lot of south american cichlids but this is my first attempt to keep some central american cichlids especially my all time favourite Firemouth. The tank has just been setup at the time of taking the pic so please excuse the slightly cloudy water.
Tank 3 18 18
Filter Eheim 2213
Sand Fine brown Sand mixed with gravel of different sizes
Driftwood and locally collected rocks
3d Backdrop by Nauzer Kasad of Aquascapes.
I plan to keep a couple of pairs of Firemouths along with some swordtails.
Thanks
Hamza

I like the background. All the material inside tank is looking stunning!!

Superb look... Few suggestions from my side.. Introduce some floating plants to cover a bit of surface.. And if possible introduce Parachromis dovii, Theraps godmanni,Amphilophus calobrensis, Hypsophrys nematopus.. They will create a beautiful group to be watched.. Waiting for for updates..

Re: My Central American Theme Tank
I would suggest peacock cichlids, they would look good in a group, and will tolerate a few plants as well.
This background is unusually good. what material is it made of, Toomanyfish?
