Hi all,
I Have a 4 feet freshwater imported tank...
Current stock:
1. Albino oscar (Medium)- 2 nos.
2. S.Dollars - 4 nos.(medium)- ( Good at eating my oscar's Poo)
3 Grey texas - 2 nos. (small)
4. Parrot - 3 Nos. (Small)
I have one Top Filter - 1600 Lph & Ehiem Canister 2217 - 1 nos. each.
Water Changes biweekly.
Substrat: gravel
Kindly suggest any bottom feeder which can be added to my tank apart from sucker cat as i avoid it due to mess it creates.
I need species which is not aggressive.
Is upside down catfish best option with Oscar's.
Hope for valuable suggestions.
Thanks & Regards,
Rahul Aggarwal

Re: Bottom Feeder
Featherfin Synodontis catfish grows very large after some time. Try Mystus leucophasis, another upside down catfish. it is from Asia. Some of them are available at Laxmi Nagar, in the last room across the ground floor. But get only one. Two means one will be killed. Give it a cave or an earthern pot. It is a tough fish once it is eating well.rahul2kcuteguy wrote:Hi All,

Re: Bottom Feeder
Hi all,
I have added feather fin catfish approx 4-5'' long & its looks good.
Is it fine addition to tank, as i have read its very territorial.
Also, kindly advice how should i feed it as other fishes dont let any food go down only little bit which oscar munches left over goes down sometimes.
Can i add any other bottom feeder also or this is enough.
Is it better to add Bogwood or Driftwood in tank for catfish & gravel is not best but i think its can work i think without damaging its barbels...
Thanks & Regards,
Rahul Aggarwal
