Guys, need one suggestion:
How much watt Metal Halide is enough for an effective photograph?
I already have a 70 watt MH. Able to arrange another 150 watt MH.
Need advice from all of you.

very tough to say, you need to do trial before you reach the exact lighting

Rajivji as I heard from you and Aamir, that you have a thick moss surface at the top, its quite tough to give a solid idea even. I also had a thick layer of moss this time, Aamir flash worked well with over all picture, but couldnt make the base bright, but that sense was required for my tank picture. You can understand now.SCORPIO wrote:You have enough experiance of photographing aquascapes. I thought "NO". This is a forest. Both the sides will also prevent light.

You have to make some space for lights to enter. Otherwise things will be difficult.
