setting up the calvus tank, atlast!!!!

This is the second time I am setting up a calvus tank
The first time I setup the tank even before the fish landed in India

I had to pack the substrate and the decor as it is for almost 2.5 years and just few days ago received my first calvus

Now I have got a new tank for these beauties
Here are a few pics

Whats that thing on the tank? Is that a lid or a light holder?
Do you have a low seating arrangement in this room? The other tank in the second pic has a very short stand it seems.

No images yet mate, as the fish are yet to stop being skittish
And its not gonna help when I shift them from their tank to the new one

Its a lid made of acrylic will help me light up the tank better
Its almost like cheating

Actually there's no seating in this room, save for the computer table chair and my old study table chair

I have purposefully kept my larger tanks at a lower height as it helps me reach the bottom of the tank during water changes

Can't wait till I set it up

After getting some time to work on the tank I was able to affix the background to the new tank
Which is a plain black sticker, I am partial to such as it adds depth and is comforting for the fish and helps these specie to gain their dark colors

And here is a pic of the rocks that I had saved from a long time for the calvus

This rocks are very nice. I have 2 pcs of same was searching for more but not available... What are this called ?? And source ??

Don't know what they are
I found them at a shop in bangalore and I picked up the whole lot close to. 300kg and that was almost 4 years ago

After giving to friends I have been saving a 100 kg for my calvus tank
