No words to explain the beauty. Speechless and amazing.
One suggestion: Try to grow some mosses over rocks and Mondo grass between the rocks.

Re: Building large planted paludarium(10*11)feet
Thanks..will try growing the mosses once its filled with water...so tat i can maintain humidity....mosses can be grown only in the middle portion through which water flows....rest of the areas wont get constant water supply......as proving a sprinkler wil lead to excess water in the cavities of plants....these cavities dont have drainage facility....so need to take care regarding watering amount....which will be taken care of using dipper facility within each cavity.....and regarding monto grass ....they require soil to stay at place na?? Wt about th light requirements???SCORPIO wrote:No words to explain the beauty. Speechless and amazing.

You can use timer with sprinklers. They can be active after every 15 minutes.abin philip wrote:sprinkler wil lead to excess water in the cavities of plants....these cavities dont have drainage facility

but watering every 15 minutes will be lead to a lot of water going in different quantities in different cavities....and these cavities dont have drainage...i will result in water clogging in the cavities and affect the plants ...the plants in cavities may be rinsed once in a day or two only...based on requirement...for that purpose have put pipes with controller in each cavity...SCORPIO wrote:You can use timer with sprinklers. the only problem with sprinkler is water entering cavities....other areas its not a problem because...it will flow down to the water area...

Can't some holes be drilled at the bottom of each cavity for draining excess water???abin philip wrote:but watering every 15 minutes will be lead to a lot of water going in different quantities in different cavities....and these cavities dont have drainage...i will result in water clogging in the cavities and affect the plants ...the plants in cavities may be rinsed once in a day or two only...based on requirement...for that purpose have put pipes with controller in each cavity...SCORPIO wrote:You can use timer with sprinklers. @sushant...thought of the idea...bt when asked the person who built the cement work...said not possible to do so...as it might break the strucure...its built that strong.. .moreover all the dirty water from pots will flow into water...making it dirty...

Re: Building large planted paludarium(10*11)feet
Has anyone here got experience with visibility of glasses..
I had used 19mm toughen glass. Its not clear glass thats usually used in aquariums...because 19mm clear glass was not available here..
will it affect the visibility....On filling water there is a greenshish shade to water....is it juz because the water is cloudy due to being newly filled in...or will it persist....can it be overcomewith proper lighting???
here is a pic below....sry for the obstacles and bad quality of pic..its because construction of house is gng on...
The leak problem has been fixed. the problem was silicon glue could not hold glass and steel tgtr....used combination of Dr Fixit, cement etc...
