it is a beautiful scene, the rainbow fishes are a far better idea than discus in this setup, since i feel discus in planted tanks look best when the tank is not only large in size, but deep enough for them, several of them are kept, and they are similar enough in colour and outline to look like the group belongs together.... Pinaki, the water wisteria and crypts are looking balanced in an unexpected way and your choice was great, trimming the hygrophila regularly will be very crucial to keeping the tank looking as good as it is right now.

Any dead fish can flow down the river but it takes a live one to swim back up stream.

You changed the fish from Paracheirodon axelrodi to Melanotaenia boesemani (the ones I can clearly see).

What alterations did you do to your water chemistry as Cardinals require very acidic water and Melanotaenia boesemani require alkaline ??

Ph of water in my area is 7.5 ,,,,,,,, i feel its quite good for my rainbows ,,,,,, i didn't make any changes in my set up other than water change ,,,,,,, cardinals do require soft water just like discus ,,,but , i didn't do much than drip acclamation method for them ,,,,,,,
