Re: help algae growing
First of all scrap this algae using a new blade. Change water regularly. The algae will reduced within a few weeks.

Re: help algae growing
Mannually remove the algae as everyone is suggesting. Do a frequent water change-say 10-15% every alternate days for couple of weeks. Try and not use any algecide in the aquarium, they will do more harm in the long run

Get your self some Ramshorn Snails. Will help keep algae in control.

Ramshorns, if kept in check will not harm your plants.
Infact, they have cleaned out the side glass and rear glass in my tank really well.
