Absolutely gorgeous pics.... Periopthalmodon septemradiatus....doesn't come from Sundarbans, but such is the dazzle, allowing him a good territory before moving him elswhere

Four months post setup, the tank has matured quite a bit. There are 4 mangrove plants (each about 2 feet long) that has germinate from the seeds. I can spot few fiddlers, some Mudskippers and some Omnobrachius Zebra.

This is how the tank looks during the day

Dada can I create a sunderban biotope in a 3 footer tank with 3 foot sump?

If you want the mangroves to grow, it should be in direct sunlight. Rest is not a problem. For example, I am using lemon tree branches given by you to simulate mangrove roots. You can get the mud from sundarbans (by surface cargo), mudskippers etc are readily available. So go for it :-)

Dada, sunlight is not a problem for me. I am already growing lilies in direct sunlight. But direct sunlight will not boil the fishes?
