Advise on Metal halide Power usage

Bit confused with this but wanted to know if there is a difference.

Does a 150 wattage metal halide consume more power than using 4 tublights of equal 150 watt.

Because both are using the same 150 watt would they make any difference on my electric bill.

Please advise.

Raj, any electrical equipmented rated at same wattage will consume equal power. the only difference between the two lights would the of lumens., as you must be knowing that lumen/watt for MH is much high compared that of any inflorescent tube thus the effecienvy of MH would be better.
