My Dream Project, my Discus Tank

Unread post by magicarshad »

Kaun kahta hai ki asmano me chhed nahi hota, Ek patthar to tabiyat se uchhalo yaro.

I was joined this forum in january2013 after lost my Discus, because i introduced discus without any research, any required filteration, water changing process.

I lost hope to keep discus again in future, but after reading this article http://aquapetz.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=846, was sure that I can do it.

Finally, I introduced Discus in my Six Fitter.

A Special Thanks to Aquapetz.com and Rajiv Sharma to help me on this, to advise how to run this tank.

Suggestion & advise are welcomed anytime...

Here is my tank;

Few question in my mind...

Food
I am feeding them Tetra Bits.
Is there any other good food to keep them healthy and maintain their colors, as someone asked me to feed them Hikari Blood worms also, what you guys suggest?

Substrate
As I am using Brown gravel as substrate, so is this ok for plants?

Light
Which light is suitable for this tank and how long i should keep On, because after few days I'll add few plants?

Looking forward to you.

Arshad

Hikari Discus Bio Gold: One of my favorite food for discs.

You can grow plants those don't need substrate like as various ferns, anubias, hornwort etc.

Light: Light should not be high.
