In my experience wild caught natives were much healthy and disease free than the exotics at the LFS.
Still I would like to know because some critters, might carry parasites that I may end up introducing in my tanks.
Seeing that a lot of people here are keeping wild caught livestock I would like to ask:
For how long do you quarantine your wild caught stock and how do you prepare them for your show tanks?
Also how do you get them started on regular fish food? because some fish just refuse to eat.
and yeah how to quarantine snails?

I am out of station so could not replied. I uses following process.
1. Pottasium permagnate bath for around one minute.
2. I puts fish in a container with the fish source water.
3. I takes a glucose bottle pipe with needle. Slowley I adds water in container from aquarium.
4. After 15 to 20 hours, I transfers the fish in tank.
