LEDS are best right now very less heat and longer life
do we have the same rule for led as 2-3 w/g? or less watts will do?
W/G is no longer used. it used to calculate an approx value of lumens emitted by a standard T8 tube (excess of modern light meters to a hobbyist was very limited). For plant you need PAR and PUR values.
How to calculate all these PAR PUR values?
Photosynthetically available radiation (PAR) is the amount of radiant energy available within the approximate spectral range of 350 to 750 nm and can be calculated using PAR meters.
