Well said. I always go this route and you're right, it takes a little more work but as the plus point, you get a well matured and full of plants tank sooner than the other method.apuda2010 wrote: Some people advise heavy planting from day one, with the assumption that the plants will use the nutrients very fast, resulting in little algae growth.
