My Planted Aquarium
Last month, I changed the theme of my Aquarium. The Aquarium Details are as under -
1. Tank Size - 30 (L) X 15 (D) X 20 (H)
2. Substrate - Mix of Contro Soil & Azoo Soil (it two years old)
3. Light - 55 W X 2 (6500 K) , 18 W (6500 K) X1 , 18 W (3800 K) and 18W X 2 Osram Pink Light
4. Filter - Eihem 2215 and internal power filter with UV
Rocks - Lava Rock
Plants -
1. Japanese Hair Grass
2. Eriocouloun Special
3. Alternanthera Red - Mini
4. Vallisneria Spirals
5. Cryptocoryne Spiral
6. Cryptocoryne wedanti red
5. Ludwigia Glandulosa
7. Roata Macaranda - Red mini
8. Lagenandra Meeboldii - varigated
9. Lagenandra Meeboldii - red
10. Hygrophilla Pinnatifida
11. Fissiden Moss on Lava Rocks
12. Flame Moss
13. Christmas Moss (thanks to Sai Kumar)
Fish Variaties
1. Cardinal Tetras
2. Feather Fin
3. Lamp eye
4. Harlequin Rasbora
5. Otocinclus
6. Yamato Shrimp & Red Fire Shrimps
All the plants execpt for few and fishes / shrimps were already existing in the tank. Its just a reorintation of layout.
Would like to have suggestions from experts on making it even better.

What kind of explanation? i havent understood. This is a open type tank and the lighting hood is hung on top of it with a gap of about 6 inches. The lighting combination is the same for the last couple of years after trying out many permutations & combinations. I found the 55W PL (4 pin light) is quite economical and suits well for a tank of this size.
