Hi! Friends,

My 26 G tank is a new plant set up. i'm planning to set up a DIY CO2 initially to get hands on the planted set up before graduating to advance set up like CO2 cylinder. Since I'm a novice, I request the experts advice on the following:-

1. How many hours should I dose the co2?
2. Do I need to dose it even after i switch off the lights?
3. How to control the CO2 production / release in to tank while i'm not dosing?

Please educate me on the above doubts as I would be starting the project in a day or two.

DIY CO2 cannot be controlled, any efforts to do so may result in disasterous results.
since the production rate isn't high so you can let it on 24/7.

Please search the forum on ways to use multiple culture to get a constant CO2 supply.

Thank you, I browsed few forums on how to keep the co2 cycle with multiple bottles.
I will try that project and post the results.
