Remove any organic wastage from aquarium and increase water circulation.

Algae Algae Algae all over, the war is still on. Last year in the end of the December I was away for few days, and was unable to maintain the tank for over ten days and the total tank was a mess. I removed Pinnatifida and replanted most of the stem plants. More than 50% of the plants are gone and and fighting the algae still then. Some few pics of the Tank as of now. Suggestion wanted from you guys to protect the tank in this summer.

There is lots of algae. Try Hydrogen paraoxide.

Hi Vikram, you have a beautiful tank. As Rajiv ji has already mentioned, remove as much algae as you can manually(using may be a toothbrush or by any other method of your choice), vaccum the gravel with every water change. and may be clean your canister filter( in 90 % of the cases dirty filter leads to algae infestation)vikramdutta11 wrote:Algae Algae Algae all over, the war is still on. Thanks Sushant for your reply, I do have a clean Filter, maybe the flow and Lights causing the Algae issue. I have lowered the lights and and working on the dosing. Lets see what how much I can fight this algae. Moreover the Temp of the tank has gone upto 28 degrees.sushant wrote:Hi Vikram, you have a beautiful tank. Any dead fish can flow down the river but it takes a live one to swim back up stream.
