IME, fuzz algae on plants and glass indicates a trace deficiency. Adding trace elements such as Seachem Flourish will quickly eliminate the fuzz.
I have started dosing flourish.. have found satisfactory results within a few days. I there any alternative to flourish in DIY method like the macros I have been using?

There is currently no DIY available. CSM+B is very poor for aquatic plants and I don't recommend it. It causes toxicity very easily, especially if dosed at recommended EI levels. There's way too much zinc and copper, as well as too little boron and iron.

I am also using csm+b and noticed problems in my sword plants. Wht are the alternatives for micro?
