I too had a hard time engulfing dat in the name of ET i got HM dat too from the larget aquatic plant seller of India. I got similar reports frm others too. I had 13lm/sq inch frm where dist btwn light source nd substrate was mere 8". Bt no matter how much lights nd nutrients i provide, i cant change the dna. :(

little update of my tank
Java fern now became weed started trimming it, Eleocharis acicularis was not growing at good pace now it starting sending runners , but this plant is not getting sufficient light due to java fern blocking light,
added one more T5 tube
welcome for any comments and suggestions

thanks, before i hv decided will not keep foreground plant , now as S. repens growing well, will try to cover foreground from it but will take time as my tank is a low light tank below 2WPG,
