Re: New to planted tanks.. need some feedback
Hello Friends,
Just wanted to upload a quick update after all the additions and upgrades.
(upgrades: extra lighting / pressurized Co2, fertz).
All of you have been so helpful and informative, I've learnt so much in these few weeks. Thank you so much.
Sorry my scaping is all over the place. still learning

your tank is looking good, you just need to let those sageterria cover the foreground.
on the side note: what i don't like about this tank is the fish selection, angels and torpedo barb(denisonii) will outgrow this tank soon.

Thanks Sushant.
Yes i've ordered some sag.. waiting for them, hopefully I'll be able to carpet..
Coming to the fish they have already started to outgrow the tank.. I'm in the process of moving them to another tank. To be honest initially I had no idea what so ever. So trying to sort out the tank now. Any suggestions on the fish which will suit my tank. Thanks again

i personally prefer small fish in large group, i can see some lemon tetra, penguin tetra and black neon you can add more of them, or rasboras or may be some small barbs like chilli barbs.jason_jm wrote:Thanks Sushant.

don't actually remember but i think i have read about 1 inch/gallon rule somewhere.i.e if the maximum size of a fish(adult) is 1inch then it should be provided minimum 1 gallon of water.jason_jm wrote:Thanks Sushant, will see if I can trade these for smaller fish.. Beautiful tank, yes need to work in the front and IMO addition of few red stems may make it look a little more attractive.

Thank you all the feedback and inputs.
Friends, need some help on adding some color to the tank, red plants. What should I add? Easy growing would be nice. Please suggest.
