Go for a glass tank. It is more resist in getting scratchs and also cost effective.

Yes. Actually if you stay in hobby more than six months, you will thought to keep a bigger tank. So choose a cost effective tank.

Thanks a lot!!

I was planning to buy a Fluval Edge 23L its around 10K in Aquatickart.com
Its quite expensive but the concealed filter and all seems attractive.
Not sure if i should go with it or if anyone in this forum have used it or you have any experiences with Fluval Edge.

if you have lot of money to spend then you are most welcome for the Fluval setup, the money u r going to invest in the Fluval tank if given to me, I can make a full Hitech Planted tank of the same size. Rajiv Ji has rightly suggested, now its your goat, cut it from head or tail your decision.

Think of a good quality custom made tank.
In that price you can include canister filter in it and lily pipe that will look as you want.

Hi Partha.

Thanks a lot for your Suggestion!!!!!.
I am really new to this so forgive me for asking stupid questions.
I am want the make the first tank small like 10-15 gallons and low-tech (no CO2) so don't know whether i want Canister Filter.I was think of HOB filters.(haven't decided yet)

Also the place where I stay in Pune there are not good shops around so don't know where to get good custom tanks. Is there any way i can order them online?

LFS small or big carry different types of tank choose whatever size you like (but larger tanks are easier to maintain,i would suggest nothing less than 30G)
