Never use wavemake. They never like very fast flow.

Woods are not just for decoration. They also maintain water parameters.

The wavemaker i am planning to use is just for 5-7 minutes every 6 hours soo that shouldnt be any issue, just to keep the poop in the water colum and sucked out till sump...

Please check the effect. They can also shocked by sudden flow. So notice the effect and continue after that.

Been very lazy in updating the pics or videos of the tank.

Just the update

Tank is doing good and discus are growing.

Tank might undergo some major transformation in terms of looks. Planning to add some plants and rescape it along with changing the lights.

Only issue is the wood is still not getting clean despite of keeping patience, cleaning the wood frequently with toothbrush and boiling it....

Setup is looking nice, for the woods to be cleaned best naturally keep some royal panaques. Best wood eaters they will make sure to keep it clean and brefet of bio film and other growth.
No harm in running wavemaker in stream mode, just increase the strength of the streams slowly to keep the water flow good.
