For plants I ve tried aquatickart.in, and they r really good. For substrate I ordered through easypets.in but it never reached me, and had to go for a payment refund. IMO Don't order that bulky stuff online rather look for them in the LFS. In Delhi u can get it from aquarium home, Laxmi Nagar Ada aqua soil @₹1900/- & ista soil @ ₹1475/- per bag.

Now I stopped to source laterite due to two reasons:
1. The source person has now not in that transport company that brings laterite free from Banglore.
2. Another reason is the unresponsible behavior of aquarists. I came to know a person get free laterite from me and sold.

Meem, try following combination to grow any plant:

1. Collect fallen leaves and make them powder after cleaning.
2. Now mix construction sand, soil and leaves powder in same ratio.
3. Cover the mixture with a thin layer of golden sand

You can grow most of the aquatic plants in this mixture.
