Just a quick update guys, the anemones are slowly recovering and as feared there is algae in the glass due to high amount of light.

I would say any,but if i were you i would definitely go for the bubble tip anemone for its size and color and also you can add other small fish and critters as well. Now with the carpet its very hard to mix any fish other than the three spot domino damsel fish .For clown fish i would go for very hardy tomato clownfish for its vibrant colors. As a note also remember bubble tip anemone are power head magnets,so make sure you choose the power heads properly.
The compatabilty of the anemone depends upon the kind of clownfish one has, not every clown is compatible with every anemone. The compability chart is available in this link - http://clownfish.webreefs.com/clownfish_anemones.php, anyone planning to keep a clown and an anemone plz go through this before buying any annemone for any given clown.

Also the tomato clownfish (Amphiprion frenatus) requires a minimum 30 gallons of tank....

Carpet anemones grow HUGE! and require 100+ Gallons of water. Bro please take care, don't let it die. I doubt it doing well in 7 gallons.

It looks pretty good actually. And it will not outgrow the tank overnight,if it does i will manage something bigger as you suggested. If it was dying it would be inside out and killing everything in the tank by now.
