Thats good for nano tanks, but for larger ones with greater heigh, may not work as the LEDs are only 0.4W, so upto 12 -14" height tanks should be ok, anything higher and the intensity will drop.

The side wont be glass, they will be acrylics, now they are coming pretty good and close to glass.
