Info required regarding dealers in LED lights for aquarium

LED lighting for my 4' setup. At present I have 2x36W T5 tubes. Need to increase the light without increasing power consumption.

T5 tubes are available in 28 watts. I think you will be not able to grow most of the plants you have got from me in 56 watts of light. You need more lighting.

I am having 72(36x2)W of light for sure. Not sure about T5, T8 or T12.

Try making a visit to SP road it's kindof the electronic gadget hub of bangalore. No shops in specific but you will get pretty cheap LED's an' all from there if you are planning for a DIY thingy.

Always refer to at least 2 or 3 hobbyists to know about the quality of services offered by mail order sites. There are many cheats and at times u may end up having a bigger telephone bill than the cost of your order if u r dealing with the wrong man. ( happened with me once)

thanks everyone for the replies. i have another query, did anyone buy thru online for meanwell led drivers. i am now thinking abt dyi, but before that i am searching for info for getting all the parts. i got some online sites from where i can get meanwell driver, but i dont have trust on tht. meanwhile i am waiting for reply from dealer in bangalore for meanwell .

I found local dealers prices to me at least 20-30% more than online stores. If youre waiting for a mail reply, better dont, just call them up. It ll be faster and easier.

BTW what online sites did you shortlist?
