I have been thinking to have our own gallery where are prominent members can post pics of their tanks.
It will give a chance to all of us to recognize are promising members of this forum.
I was talking to my friend Rajiv, the admin of this site to work on this.
I am Happy to announce that with our combined efforts we all will be able to post pics of our aquariums soon.

Tarunji we are already sharing all our tanks in our journal or in some others thread, What you exactly planning can you please elaborate!!! Its a good idea though.

Exact!!! then why only Tank PICs but also natives , Cichlids and others.

But would suggest to make it in such a way that it become a easy way to find a members album, then sub-albums(if any)

Don't go for the phpBB gallery. Very primitive and hard to use. Learned in a hard way. If possible, get a customised 3rd party gallery software.

Hi,
thanks for sharing your thoughts. The plan is in such a way that we will have sub directories for biotopes. We are gathering information on the same and we want to launch the same soon. The entire thing is involving some cost which is little expensive but for the sake of our forum we will manage.

If you go for phpbbgallery, its free but less flexible. Couple of them are there which you have to buy but comes with lots of features.

Creating subdirectoris for every kind, are messy business and hell of a overhead.
