because of buoyant nature of styroform you will need to use a considerable amount of silicon especially at all the corners and at regular intervals throughout the back ground.parthapratim22 wrote:Oh thats not good!!!adesh8028 wrote:Partha da, it was with actual lighting which I'm going to have in the tank. BTW, update time on this. And this time it is not so good update; as the front assembly of DIY just popped up from the glass taking the tank hood along with it. Seems, the silicone pasting was not strong, I had put the silicone for 1 day after pasting it to glass before filling the tank up with water. Now, I've some cracks on the background which I will do some fixing on it.
Any suggestion on pasting the background on the tank glass?

Well, there has been a week I was working on stitching the cracks. Finally, was able to manage fill them up and this time. I've applied 2 silicon tubes for pasting it and in addition to this, I've also applied extra on top and bottom sides to fill in the gap between background and glass. Hopefully this time it will not pop out. Keeping my fingers crossed.
discusfav, I've still started with curing it but I'm going to test it with pH meter I've.

Update time friends, this has been fixed with good amount of silicon. Fishes have been acclimated as well. Although the idea was to have fronts in it, I've changed the plan and sold off the fronts.

Thanks guys.
The tanks is housing Utinta/Lelupi and as Abhi rightly guessed Calvus too.
Partha da, I've a wood which is shown in below image.
Could you please advise on its location and orientation to be placed in current setup?
